KATSEYE Channels "The Cheetah Girls" in Coordinating Tracksuits
Early aughts fashion is just about everywhere now, and powerhouse girl group KATSEYE is leaning in.
The group already made the case for low-rise denim coming back into mainstream fashion when they starred in Gap's new Fall 2025 campaign, “Better in Denim." All six members of KATSEYE — Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung — were shown dancing to the hit 2003 song “Milkshake” by Kelis, establishing their love of nostalgia. And now, they're taking fans back to another classic style trend: track suits.
While traveling to Seoul, Korea, every member of KATSEYE was seen walking through Gimpo International Airport wearing coordinating track suits that mimic those made popular in the early 2000s. Everyone from Paris Hilton to Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears rocked a tracksuit during their height of popularity, often made by the beloved brand Juicy Couture. While KATSEYE's tracksuits didn't appear to be made of the signature velour, the style was still there.

KATSEYE is bringing this look back, and we're reminded of another cultural phenomenon — The Cheetah Girls. As they walked through the airport with their luggage rolling beside them, KATSEYE had on different colored tracksuits — red, pink, yellow, teal, purple, and blue. The singers all styled their tracksuits in different ways, using sunglasses or trucker hats to accessorize. Lara Raj opted for furry Ugg boots to really complete the 2000s look.
In case you haven't seen the Disney Channel original movie, The Cheetah Girls, which came out in 2003, it follows a fictional girl group of the same name and stars Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Sabrina Bryan, and Kiely Williams. The movie has one pivotal scene when the singers perform their song “Cheetah Sisters,” and are all wearing matching tracksuits with cheetah-print details.
